Management options...
- Immediate anticoagulation with low molecular weight Heparin or
- Above plus rate control with Digoxin or
- Immediate anticoagulation with low molecular weight Heparin plus cardioversion
Once Atrial Fibrillation is under control, give Aspirin to reduce risk of emboli.
For higher risk patients, adminster long term Warfarin.
